Encountering Shirakami Kodama Yeast
My encounter with Shirakami Kodama yeast was bread I casually bought at a local supermarket.
I think it caught my eye when it was written in large letters on the bread bag "Shirakami Echo Yeast".
When I tried it, I thought, "It's delicious~! I was so impressed that I started buying it often.
When I looked at the ingredients, they were so simple that I thought they were using good wheat.
Eventually, I came across Mr. Otsuka's recipe book and tried to make it myself, and although it was not good (not because of the book, but because of my low baking experience), I was surprised to find bread with the same taste.
Shirakami Kodama yeast that brings out the taste of wheat
At that time, for the first time, it was Shirakami Kodama yeast that brought out the taste of wheat! I realized.
Shirakami Kodama Yeast taught me that "if you have yeast, flour, sugar, salt, and water, you can make delicious bread, and you don't need extra fats and additives."
So I fell in love with the charm of Shirakami Echo Yeast and wanted to be able to bake it more plump and delicious, so I went to the Sarapan class.
Easy to reproduce at home
In the Sarapan class, I think it is good to learn the manufacturing method according to the characteristics of Shirakami Kodama yeast.
It was also very nice to be able to teach them in a way that is easy to make at home without any special tools.
I can now make my own bread that is not sold in stores.
